"Darcy Rezac...claims he invented networking; he didn't--he just perfected it."--Peter C, Newman, The Titans

This short statement in Peter C's best-seller, The Titans, inspired us to write the book, The Frog and Prince Secrets of Positive Networking. In fact, not only is Peter mentioned in the acknowedgements, there is a story about how he met the love of his life, Alvy, on page 72--networking. Here is what we say about him in the acknowledgements:

"Peter C. Newman played a big role in motivating Gayle and me to do a book on networking. We got to know Peter and his wife Alvy quite well before they moved to Zurich and London, through his networking buddy, lawyer Lyall Knott (who amongst his other talents is Hon Consul General for Tunisia in BC.) Peter and Lyall used to regularly host small networking dinners at the Four Season’s Hotel to introduce prominent visitors to the local business community. Lyall got a lot more space in Peter’s book, Titans, than I did, and he deserved it. But, I was both flattered and grateful for Peter’s kind words on page 555 and with Gayle’s support and encouragement, we decided to do something about it."

Thank you, Peter and Alvy.
